A major theme in the great Gatsby is the Pursuit of what can be the American dream.To began with Gatsby was never part of the establishment,because we learn that he was born in North Dakota into a poor farming  family .As we read along we found out that limitations that went with being poor.I think this is how the American Dream Begins.           Gatsby gets a taste for the rich throughout Dan Cody. we learned to Gatsby make his fortune trough an  elaborated bottling operations. this is essentially the American dream to Gatsby. The poem is that it is about  immigrants who come to the united states or any country that isn't their. They leave their country/home with expectations, bit at the end their expectations result into nothing

            In class we have been reading an essay called"self reliance". The thesis is that we should all depend in our self, because it is what make us. Emorsons main idea was that we all should represent who we really are, not what people want to see.             Emersons diction was clear and used words so anybody can understand it. His tone was confident, because as we read along he tells some imotional things. Emersons used good arrangement of words and phases to create a well essay that touches erybody, in some way.              One quote that got stuck in my mind was " do not think the youth has no force". I think the story is true. Because if you back in time or forward in time your caoupd change the time period. Lets say if you went back in time and did a little thing you weren't supost to do. You might have changed the future. No matter if you did something small or big, they are all inportant.

In class I have been reading this book called " the boy at the end of the world". This book is interesting because the teenager who wakes up only remembers his name, that the world is a dangerous place and that he is alone. As I read along the book best interesting because he finds a robot that will help him survive as the last human on earth. I found out that the robot has some malfuntions, but is loyal and resourceful. The robot will also be fisher closes friend. Fisher tries to find out what happen the world and goes on a adventure with the robot to find out. As they tried to find out they came up with some electric eells, giant parrots. Fishers is shok to find out what the humans left behind.

If you want to start a good conversation online you would first need something to talk about or something to intertain the person. I think you would also need to be in the same topic as the other person so you an start a conversation. Make it interesting so it could be a good conbersation online.

                                Smart goal S: I want to get good grades this year. M: I could know that I have good grades by asking my teachers or in my progresreport. A:  I could accomplish  it by trying my best in all the classes and asking for help. R: these goal is important because you have to have good grades to go to college.
