A major theme in the great Gatsby is the Pursuit of what can be the American dream.To began with Gatsby was never part of the establishment,because we learn that he was born in North Dakota into a poor farming family .As we read along we found out that limitations that went with being poor.I think this is how the American Dream Begins. Gatsby gets a taste for the rich throughout Dan Cody. we learned to Gatsby make his fortune trough an elaborated bottling operations. this is essentially the American dream to Gatsby. As we read along we found out that gaspy trows a lot of partys just to attract daisy. I learned that Gatsby has what any american dream can have, but gataby doesn't stop here he trows a lot of expensive party's and owns a huge mansion. He is consider a american dream, till he loses it all. When he gets shot in the back. So in my option I think Gatsby was an outlier, because he was well know around, but at the end he was just nobody, Because only a few
